Arrows: Path Escape (“the app”) is a puzzle game. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. The app has no user accounts and never asks for your name, email address, or contacts.
Your progress (unlocked levels, stars, statistics, streaks, reward tokens, and the Remove Ads purchase state) is stored on your device. To protect it against device loss, progress is also backed up to our servers (Google Firebase) under a randomly generated anonymous identifier. This identifier is not linked to your identity.
If you complete the Daily Challenge while online, your chosen display name, solve time, and hearts remaining are submitted to a public leaderboard under your anonymous identifier. The display name is whatever you type in Settings; please don’t use personal information you don’t want shown publicly.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob (a banner on the home screen, an occasional interstitial after completing levels, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch). AdMob may process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) to serve and measure ads. On iOS, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before any tracking; in regions covered by GDPR, a consent dialog is shown and your choice can be changed any time in Settings > Ad Privacy Options. Purchasing “Remove Ads” removes the banner and interstitial ads entirely.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate gameplay (for example, which levels are too hard) and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports. These services process device information and in-app events. They do not receive your name or contact details.
The Remove Ads purchase is processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play. The app never sees your payment details.
The app is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are configured with a maximum content rating suitable for teens.
Anonymous progress backups and leaderboard entries are retained to provide the service. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. To request deletion of the anonymous cloud data, contact us with your leaderboard display name and approximate play dates.
