Sort Master Privacy Policy
- You can play without an account. Signing in is optional, and only then do we keep your email address and a copy of your progress, to save it for you.
- Without an account, your progress, coins and settings are stored only on your device.
- We never ask for your contacts, photos or precise location.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device data to show them, as described below.
- Sort Master is for all ages, including children. Players under 13 only ever see child-safe ads and are never tracked.
- We do not sell your data.
Who we are
Sort Master (“the game”) is published by Sourcenet (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Sort Master app on Android and iOS.
Information stored on your device
To remember your game, the app saves the following on your device only:
- your age group (under 13, 13 to 15, or 16 and over), from the question the game asks the first time it opens — the year you enter is not kept;
- levels reached, stars, best moves and the level you are part-way through;
- coins, unlocked skins and scenes, collection items and event progress;
- settings such as sound, music and vibration.
Unless you sign in (see below), this information is never sent to us. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your device settings, deletes it permanently, and we cannot recover it for you.
Optional account and cloud save
Players aged 13 and over can choose to sign in, with Google or with an email address and password, to keep a copy of their progress and play on another device. Signing in is never required to play.
If you sign in, we store:
- your email address, and the name on your Google account if you sign in with Google;
- an account identifier created by our sign-in service;
- a copy of your game progress: levels, stars and best moves, coins, unlocked skins and scenes, collection items, streaks and event progress.
We use this only to sign you in and to keep your progress in step across your devices. It is never used for advertising and never sold. We do not store your password: it is handled by our sign-in service. If you sign in with Google, we do not receive your Google password or access your other Google data.
Sign-in and storage are provided by Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which processes this data on our behalf on Google Cloud servers in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, under Firebase’s privacy terms. Your saved progress can only be read by you when signed in.
We keep this data for as long as you have an account. If you sign out, your progress stays on the device and the copy stays in your account until you sign in again or delete the account.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all data stored with it at any time:
- In the game: Settings → Account → Delete account. Your account, your email address and your saved progress are deleted from our servers straight away. The progress on the device you are using stays on it.
- Without the game: email us at mendparaansh09@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Sort Master account deletion”. We delete the account and all of its data within 30 days and confirm by email.
Nothing is kept after deletion, except where the law requires us to keep a record of the request itself.
Advertising
The game is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). These include banner ads, full-screen ads between levels, ads when you return to the game, and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch for a bonus.
The first time the game opens, it asks your year of birth. This happens before any ad is requested, and decides which ads you can be shown (see Children). For players aged 13 and over, to deliver, measure and limit ads, and to prevent fraud, Google’s ad software in the app may collect:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (Android advertising ID, or Apple’s IDFA if you allow tracking) | Showing and measuring ads, frequency limits, and personalised ads where you consent |
| IP address, which can suggest your approximate location | Choosing relevant ads and preventing fraud |
| Device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version) | Showing ads that work on your device |
| How you interact with ads (views, taps) | Measuring ads and preventing fraud |
This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policies. We do not receive it in a form that identifies you. To learn how Google uses this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your choices about ads
- European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland: if you are 16 or over, the first time you open the game you are asked whether Google may use your data for personalised ads. Players under 16 are not asked and only receive non-personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy settings in the game.
- iPhone and iPad: if you are 16 or over, the game asks for permission before your device’s advertising identifier is used for tracking. Players under 16 are never asked, and are not tracked. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device’s Settings → Google → Ads (the wording varies by device).
- If you decline personalised ads, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.
Google Play and the App Store
The game uses Google Play’s own features to offer you app updates and to ask you to rate the game, and Apple’s equivalent for ratings on iOS. These are run by Google and Apple under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your review or your store account details.
What we do not do
- We do not require an account. Signing in is optional.
- Apart from the email address and name of an account you choose to create, we do not collect your phone number, contacts, photos, files or precise location.
- We do not keep your date or year of birth, only the age group described above.
- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services that send data to us.
- We do not sell your personal information, or share it for money.
- The game does not offer in-app purchases at this time. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Children
Sort Master is suitable for all ages, and children are welcome to play. Because of that, the game asks every new player their year of birth before any ad is shown. It does not suggest an answer, and the year itself is not stored — only the age group.
For players under 13:
- every ad request is marked as coming from a child, as Google requires under the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play’s Families policy;
- ads are never personalised, and the device’s advertising identifier is not used to track the child;
- only ads rated suitable for general audiences (G) are shown;
- no ad is shown when the game is opened or returned to, and the tracking permission prompt is never shown;
- signing in is not offered, so no email address, name or account is ever collected from a child;
- the game has no chat, no sharing and no purchases, and it does not collect any personal information from children.
Players aged 13 to 15 also receive non-personalised ads in regions where they are below the age of digital consent, and are never shown the tracking prompt. Ads for every player are limited to content suitable for general audiences with parental guidance (PG) or lower.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which Google certifies for use in apps for children under Google Play’s Families Self-Certified Ads SDK Program. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, or believe your child’s information has been collected, contact us and we will help.
Security and retention
Game data stays on your device until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Data collected by Google for advertising is kept according to Google’s policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and California privacy law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its use. If you have an account, you can see your email and progress in the game, and delete them yourself as described above; for anything else, contact us. Without an account we hold no personal information about you, so requests about ad data are best made to Google through the links above. You can always contact us, and we will help.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the game’s store listing.
