Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Link Flow: Pipe Puzzle app (“Link Flow”, “the app”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Link Flow is made by SourceNet (“we”, “us”).
- You don’t need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or contacts.
- Your game progress and settings stay on your device.
- The app shows ads and uses Google services (AdMob, Firebase) that collect device and usage data to show ads, measure how the app is used, fix crashes and send notifications.
- Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent before personalised ads, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Privacy & ad choices.
1. Information stored on your device
Link Flow saves your game data locally on your device: levels solved and stars, hints, Daily Puzzle streaks, settings (sound, haptics, reminders) and ad pacing counters. This data is not sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.
2. Information collected by third-party services
The app uses the following Google services. They may collect information automatically from your device, as described below and in their own privacy policies.
| Service | Purpose | Information collected |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Showing banner, full-screen, app-open and optional rewarded ads; measuring ad performance; preventing fraud | Advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (model, OS version, language), ad interactions, and approximate location derived from the IP address |
| Google User Messaging Platform | Asking for and storing your consent choices for ads, where the law requires it | Your consent choices, device and app information |
| Firebase Analytics | Understanding how the game is played (for example, which levels are hard) so we can improve it | App instance ID, app interactions (levels started, completed or skipped, hints used), device and app information, approximate location |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Finding and fixing crashes and errors | Crash reports, stack traces, device state and app information, installation ID |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging | Sending notifications you have switched on (Daily Puzzle reminders, news and events) | A notification token for your device and the topics you are subscribed to |
| Firebase Remote Config | Adjusting game and ad settings without an app update | Installation ID, app and device information |
Privacy policies of these providers:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services
- Firebase privacy and security
- AdMob and personal data
3. How we use information
- To run the game and keep your progress.
- To show ads, which keep the game free, and to limit how often they appear.
- To understand how the game is played and improve levels, difficulty and features.
- To detect, investigate and fix crashes and bugs.
- To send notifications you have chosen to receive.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything other than the purposes above.
4. Advertising and your choices
Ads may be personalised based on your interests, or non-personalised, depending on your choices and where you live. You can:
- Change your ad consent at any time in the app: Settings → Privacy & ad choices (shown where the law requires it).
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
5. Notifications
Notifications are off until you allow them. You can switch Daily Puzzle reminders and news on or off in the app’s Settings, or turn off notifications for Link Flow in your device settings.
6. Data retention
Data on your device is kept until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Data collected by Google services is kept according to Google’s retention policies and our Firebase settings: analytics data is kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically, and crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Because the app has no accounts, we generally cannot link data to you by name. To make a request, email us at the address below; include the approximate date you installed the app and your device model so we can help. You can also reset your Advertising ID and uninstall the app, which removes all data stored on your device.
8. Children
Link Flow is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
9. Security
Data sent to Google services is protected in transit with encryption. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use the protections provided by Google and the Android platform.
10. International transfers
Google services may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Google uses safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be noted in the app’s update notes.
